Article 1. Applicability

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (“Conditions“) apply to all offers, orders, and agreements of Vintage Fur Vault.

1.2 Accepting an offer or placing an order means that you accept the applicability of these Terms and Conditions.

1.3 The provisions of these Conditions can only be deviated from in writing, in which case the other provisions remain in full force.

1.4 All rights and claims, as stipulated in these Conditions and any further agreements for the benefit of Vintage Fur Vault, are also stipulated for the benefit of intermediaries and other third parties engaged by Vintage Fur Vault.

Article 2. Offers / Agreements

2.1 An agreement is only concluded after acceptance of your order by Vintage Fur Vault. Vintage Fur Vault is entitled to refuse orders or to attach certain conditions to the delivery unless explicitly stated otherwise. If an order is not accepted, Vintage Fur Vault will notify you within five (5) working days after receipt of the order.

Article 3. Prices and Payments

3.1 The prices stated for the products and services offered are in euros, and VAT is not charged on second-hand items. Import duties are for the consumer.

3.2 Payment can be made via iyzico or bank transfer. In the case of payment by bank, the date of payment is the date of crediting the bank account of Vintage Fur Vault. 3.3 If the payment term is exceeded, Vintage Fur Vault can decide whether or not the order will be canceled.

Article 4. Shipping / Delivery / Return

4.1 We ship worldwide.

4.2 It is possible to pick up your purchase by hand, on an appointment. Shipping is at your own risk. After we receive the payment we ship your item within 24 to 48 hours.

4.3 Shipping in Europe costs around 5-9 work days. Shipping outside Europe costs around 15-29 work days. We are not responsible for the duration of the delivery.

4.4 As soon as your item is shipped you will receive your shipping number so you can track your item at any time. Import duties, taxes, or any other costs associated with importing the purchased item are not the responsibility of Vintage Fur Vault. These costs are for the buyer. Please always check your country’s import duties outside the European Union!

4.5 If the item you ordered is not available we will contact you on the same day. Orders placed over the weekend will be shipped on Monday.

4.6 Returns are not accepted. All items are secondhand and are sold “as they are”. Please send us an email if you have any questions regarding an item you’re interested in. We are more than happy to provide you with more information. If you want to see the item in real life you can make an appointment.

Article 5. Reservation of ownership

5.1 The ownership of the delivered products is only transferred if you have paid all that you owe to Vintage Fur Vault based on any agreement. The risk concerning the products already passes to you at the moment of delivery.

Article 6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 You must fully and unconditionally respect all intellectual property rights resting on the products delivered by Vintage Fur Vault.

6.2 Vintage Fur Vault does not guarantee that the products delivered to you do not infringe on any (unwritten) intellectual and/or industrial property rights of third parties.

Article 8. Guarantee for Authenticity

8.1 Vintage Fur Vault guarantees that the products to be delivered meet the usual requirements and standards that can be imposed on them and are free of any defects.

8.2 If a product is labeled as real vintage fur, Vintage Fur Vault guarantees its authenticity.

8.3 If you have purchased an item from Vintage Fur Vault and have doubts about the authenticity of the material, please contact Vintage Fur Vault. 

Article 9. Force Majeure

9.1 Without prejudice to the other rights to which it is entitled, in the event of force majeure Vintage Fur Vault has the right, at its discretion, to suspend the execution of your order, or to dissolve the agreement without judicial intervention, by informing you in writing and without Vintage Fur Vault being obliged to pay any compensation, unless this would be unacceptable in the circumstances to the standards of reasonableness and fairness.

9.2 Force majeure means any shortcoming which can not be attributed to Vintage Fur Vault, because it is not due to its fault and not under the law, legal act or generally accepted for its account.

Article 10. Miscellaneous

10.1 If you provide Vintage Fur Vault with an address in writing, Vintage Fur Vault is entitled to send all orders to that address, unless you provide Vintage Fur Vault with a written notice of another address to which your orders are to be sent.

10.2 If Vintage Fur Vault allows deviations from these Conditions, whether or not tacitly, for a short or longer period, this shall not affect its right to demand immediate and strict compliance with these Conditions. You can never assert any right because Vintage Fur Vault applies these Conditions smoothly. 10.3 Vintage Fur Vault is authorized to use third parties in the execution of your order(s).

Article 11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

11.1 Turkish law applies exclusively to all rights, obligations, offers, orders, and agreements to which these Terms and Conditions apply, as well as to these Terms and Conditions.

11.2 All disputes between parties will only be submitted to the competent court in the Istanbul.

Article 12. Copyright

12.1 On all images or parts of images that are available on this website without the express permission of the author, copying of prints or complete sections of the text of downloaded documents is strictly prohibited by copyright.
